Astonish Issue

Why do people post questions about potentially serious health issues here instead of calling a Doctor?
I am absolutely astonished at the number of “My child has been vomiting constantly for 14 days…what should I do?” or “Can I inject heroin into my veins if I am 3 weeks pregnant and still be ok?” questions posted. Why don’t these people call a medical professional instead of leaving it up to us idiots if it is serious?
If you check their other questions, you’ll find that they are just fooling around. Most of the time, at least one of their other questions will be- “I’m 14 N want a cell phone. Mom sez No. What do U think.”
Or something to that effect. That text message dialect is a dead give away that it’s just a kid playing around.
