Blue Beetle

I think I found a blue death feigning beetle outside my house Las Vegas. Do we have those here?

It was a little more gray then blue but the pictures looked exactly identical. (same body shape) I just want to know if there is a gray version or am I seeing things…. And if they are local to Las Vegas, NV.
It doesnt have the bumps on the butt (sorry i dont know the exact term) but it was really gray, almost like a smoke color.

They have been found in the Mojave. Here are some more grey/brown looking specimens:
