if they can get the rights for Sherlock Homes on the Brave and the Bold can they get the rights for zorro?
right now new Zorro and Sherlock homes comics are being printed by Dynamite Entertainment. so can they get the rights to use zorro on Batman the Brave and the bold cartoon since they already work things out between companies to get the rights for Sherlock Homes to appear in an episode?
Sherlock Holmes and Zorro are both in the public domain and no one needs to get the rights to use these characters.
If the stories in the comics are unique works using these characters, those stories would be protected. But the characters of Sherlock Holmes and Zorro can be used in any story you wish to create.
