Buscema Art

Your favorite comic book artist and why?
Mine would be John Buscema, closely followed by Steve Rude, Alex Ross, Adam Kubert, Masamune Shirow.
Also, Joe Madureira, Jim lee, Howard Porter. I’m not naming many but you get the idea.
Please put links to your favorite artist and follow ups if possible, that way everyone can enjoy their art.
My favorites right now are Leinil Francis Yu and Bryan Hitch and Greg Horn and Ayami Kojima.
The guys most responsible for my artistic growth though are Akira Toriyama, Alex Ross and the WB art style during that time when Batman and Superman had that hour long block on Sunday mornings. There are more.
I wen through the Todd McFarlane phase,
a Jim Lee phase, Joe Mad, Carlos Pacheco, the Kuberts,
There was a japanese anime phase. Long story short it’s been a long road for me and it’s time to turn it into something.
And the influences from these guys have help me progress sooo much since the begining.
If anyone is interested in checking out my work I have a Yahoo group and would love for other artists or like minded people who have ideas but can’t articulate them to join.
The site is http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Skylytes/
