Wonder Man vs Captain Atom, who would win?
I think Captain Atom would win.
Captain Atom can “burn out” or his Dilustel shell can theoretically be cracked by either tremendous force or X-Ionizer technology.
Wonder Man, on the other hand, has achieved power levels on par with that of Thor. At his current comic level, he’s nearly invulnerable, immortal, instant reflexes, and omega-level strength and speed.
It would be a pretty even fight given that Captain Atom can absorb nearly infinite amounts of radiation, but even he has limits, and Wonder Man can produce conceivably infinite amounts of radiation and ionic energy; even being able to turn himself into pure energy. With enough power, he’d eventually cause Captain Atom’s tolerance for energy absorption to rupture, tilting his powers and feasibly causing them to disperse and send him back in time or to the future, which is a common backfire that Captain Atom faces when he takes on too much power at once.
