Comics Worlds

How can we make Archie comics more popular today?
Though Archie comics sell the most than any other comic books today, they’re almost never publicized, which I think is mean! (lol) I love them as do many of my friends and the world (or they wouldn’t sell :p). So what are your ideas…?
Archie comics are in a class all by themselves. If they sell as much as you’re suggesting why should there be a need to make them any more popular?
Why mess with a successful formula?
You can only grab so much of the market sales after all, Archie comics sell well because of where they are sold. You can easily find them in any store that has a magazine rack, this is because they are a family friendly comic and have been around for decades.
If Archie tried to use the manga style of art it just wouldn’t be the same. Dan Decarlo’s style of Archie is fine as is.

Looney Tunes: Golden Collection, Vol. 6 $24.36 Fifteen cartoons dating from World War II give Volume 6 of the Looney Tunes Golden Collection more focus than previous sets. Many of the 1940′s cartoons remain very funny. Bugs Bunny dresses up as Brunnhilda and rides in to the strains of “Tannhauser” in “Herr Meets Hare” (1945), a gag Chuck Jones re-used to greater effect in “What’s Opera, Doc” a dozen years later. In “Russian Rhapsody” (1940… |

Cosmic Thing $1.93 Nirvana made a lot of things irrelevant when Nevermind was released in 1991. Among the most unfortunate casualties caught inside the blast radius were the B-52′s. Just two years prior, they had released their very first mainstream breakthrough album, Cosmic Thing. This album was featherweight, sun-kissed, playfully pansexual and, most importantly, danceable. Tracks like “Love Shack” and “Roam” rem… |
