What book(s) in Lackey’s Valdemar series cover the story of Sunsinger and Shadowdancer?

Several novels and some of the filk reference a cursed couple, Sunsinger and Shadowdancer. Most notably, the filk song “Windrider Unchained” briefly tells the how they gave up a possible cure for their curses to free Valdemar’s heir of the time.

The greatest detail comes in Arrow’s Flight, when Talia & Dirk sing it, plus there might be something in one of the Vanyel books, but I couldn’t swear to it. So far as I know, she hasn’t actually written that story.
