I came into this company for one reason, and one reason only. To prove my worth as the best. To rise to the top. To become World Champion. Like the darkness, I am unstoppable. I cannot be stopped. And tonight, I take one step – the first step – into ensuring that the World Title comes into my clutches.
A tournament was been created to crown a new World Champion, and in my opening match, I find myself pitted against friend and rival Mr. Blood. Now Blood is a tough superstar, I know that. He holds much power in this company, but authority has never stopped me before, and it certainly cannot stop me tonight. I have decimated owners of companies in their own feds, without fear of repercussion, and they were unable to stop me. Blood, you’re good. But you stand between me and my path to the gold. You are an obstacle, and you shall be destroyed.
We fight in an Inferno Match. Where the only way to win is to light your opponent on fire. A barbaric and cruel way to victory. . . just my kind of thing. I will have no remorse when I set you alight, I will feel no guilt when you’re running around, skin ablaze, burning and crackling. Because I do all this to obtain the richest prize in this company. I do all this in order to cement my status as the best. I do all this in order to win the World Title. And with that hanging in the balance, burning one person doesn’t seem like much of a price.
You can put up a fight. You can resist all you like. But it will be inevitable. You will be the first to fall, because ALL who stand in my way in this tournament shall be defeated. Blood, you start the long chain of opponents who will crumble against my might. . .
