Ditko Art

Spider-Man Fans: whose art was best, Ditko, Romita, Kane, Andru?
Ditko’s work featured the classical villains: Doc Ock, Vulture, Kraven, Osborne’s alter-ego. Romita gave shape to MJ & Gwen as we know them, also a More muscular Spidey came with Kane -who penciled ‘The Night Gwen Stacey Died’ and Ross Andru kept this school for long time.
I like Romita best. His art remained classic with some style and that’s why I liked it. He made Peter appear more handsome and grown up, Mary Jane and Gwen more beautiful and I like how he drew fight scenes better, it wasn’t quirky like Ditko’s. Ditko’s art was alright, and I have alot of respect for it, because he drew Spidey the first 38 or so issues and that’s truly classical if you ask me.
