My dog has four nipples is that normal or is she special?

She is a Min Pin from the pound and a great animal. I scratch her everyday and just noticed this.

Normally dogs have 8 nipples, but some tiny breeds may have less. I’ve got giant breed dogs, and they have large litters. One of my girls grew extra nipples – she ended up with 11 which co-incided with her having two litters of 11 pups. Min pins usually have very small litters – 4 or less pups, so that sounds about right, doesn’t it?
