What is a good website maker that is free and password protected?

I want to make a website for me and my friends, but I don’t know what the best one to use is. It has to be good, free, and easy. It also has to be password protected, which means you have to log in to see it. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease help!

The password protection is something YOU write when you write the site. You can use Notepad, but Notepad Plus (it’s free) makes it a lot easier. (Website makers don’t create databases and server-side code, which you need for a site you have to log in to use.)
