Grade Silver
Are there any archival consequences of using reagent grade Silver Nitrate instead of laboratory grade?
Reagent grade is almost half the price 99% pure laboratory grade.

My suggestion would be to use it only half the time (to half way off set the cost) and report back every five years. :}
Probably no problems, unless the reagent grade is coming from places near the Far East. (non-quality from non-control).
