The San Diego Comic Con, which has been abbreviated to SDCC to great number of fans in the world, is the biggest and most popular occasion in the geek diary by far. The combination of big celebs, never seen before upcoming film clips, workshops, collectibles and the surrounding atmosphere has become the stuff of modern pop cult legends. It is amazing place for movie and comic fans, and many of the people that go to the The San Diego Comic Con each year have travelled there from all across the globe.
Year in, year out, the best cult movies and television shows within the cult comic book industry are announced with never before seen trailers and updates from the writers, actresses and film crew themselves. This year will be the biggest ever! If anything, the 09 The San Diego Comic Con is looking up to be the biggest ever, with a good number of the most highly long awaited films, comics and rare collectables getting their 1st ever real exposure at the event.
Examples? In the 2009 convention there’s the first public exposure of footage from James Cameron’s Avatar, which is being regarded as the most awaited sci fi movie in recent years, and a welcome return to the film directors stand for James Cameron. Then there is Iron Man 2, the next in the series to the comic book film blockbuster, and a huge amount of other great events to check out and attend. There will, as ever, be a huge amount of coverage of the San Diego Comic Con spanning across the Internet community.
