How long should I expect a Toyota Corolla to last – has their sludge issue gone away?

Oil changes are performed every 4000 miles on a car that is driven at highway speeds 95% of the time

I own a 97 camry with a 4-cylinder that I bought a year ago. A few months ago I was sent a notice that all FOUR CYLINDER 1997-2002 engines were possibly subject to sludge issues.
I’m not saying V-6′s weren’t included because I don’t know for a fact but the suit specifically named the FOUR CYLINDER models. Sorry kiakrash and terrence.
