What if there were Mirror Universe versions from the characters from He-Man and the Masters of the Universe?
Prince Adam would be a merciless tyrant and Skeletor would be the one who opposes him.
It’s pretty basic because they would be so black-and-white.
I don’t think Adam would be the tyrant, per se, his father would be, but maybe he would’ve poisoned his father or something.
The Sorceress would instead be an evil witch, who is manipulating prince Adam – under her spell, he becomes He-Man, a nearly mindless brute who enforces her vile commands.
Man-at-arms, an unscrupulous arms merchant slash mad scientist…
And Teela, ew. I don’t even want to go there.
On the other hand, Skeletor looks the way he does because he was hideously disfigured by the Witch when he tried to stand up against her evil.
Mer-Man and Beast-Man are embodiments of the forces of nature who rise against the Witch, who is slowly corrupting all of Eternia.
Trap-Jaw once was an ordinary man, who was nearly killed by He-Man, but Skeletor managed to save his life – but now he needs his cybernetic implants to survive.
And so on…
“I have the power!” sounds pretty sinister no matter how you slice it.
