Is this enough of a Thank You Gift for Xmas time?
My parents have decided that they want my brother and I to come visit them at their home in Las Vegas, NV (We live in MN). They are paying for two round trip flight tickets, which is quite expensive for them. My father is on full disability due to Parkinson’s Disease, so his monthly checks are not much and my mom is commissioned at a Collection Agency. The economy is so bad that her paychecks have been slim, yet she insisted that they will pay. We ordered the tickets and everything on their credit already, so we are going, but now I want to give them something for a way to say thank you. I am full time college student that is unemployed so I cannot afford hundreds of dollars on a gift, but can afford about 100 in total. I was thinking of getting them gift cards to two of their favorite restaurants that are kind of up scale and expensive. Would that be a nice enough gift? Is that a good way to say Thank You?
It is a very nice gift.
Also think about what they might need if money is tight…. but something they wouldn’t think to buy for themselves. Like fill a basket with their favorite foods, snacks, drinks, soaps, candles, books, bed socks …. anything really that they can use for more than a day.
