Pgx Cgc

What is a good age to gave your comic books graded?

im looking at having my comics graded by either cgc or pgx and was wondering what a good age my comics should be before I graded then because I don’t really know…. I realize that it would be dumb to send a modern comic but I have some from ’85 and I was wondering if that was a good age to have them graded

It isn’t just the age, it’s the potential worth of a comic. Like if you had a mint 1st edition “Ultimate Spider-Man” #1 from 2000 (goes for upwards of $100), that’d be worth getting graded more than a “Web of Spider-Man” #1 from 1986, which is worth maybe $15. Most books from around 1985 aren’t worth even that much.
