This is my team for players who play hard (everyday players,running into walls,diving on their face,hustling,etc)
C-Russel Martin (Plays often and hustles, rare for a catcher)
1B- Mark Teixeira(Has Played 2 full seasons and gives full effort on defence)
2B- David Eckstein(Small guy who plays hard because he has to, always hustles)
3B- Brandon Inge(Constantly dives on his face and dove into the stands)
SS- Derek jeter(Known for clutch hitting and we all know the flip and the dive)
CF- Grady Sizemore(2 straight seasons 162 games played always makes diving plays)
LF- Eric Byrnes(Dives on his face all the time and is known for running into the wall)
RF- Jeff Francoeur(2 straight seasons with 162 played games and constantlt runs into wall and has run into the stands)
I like that you mentioned Eric Byrnes because he DOES hustle. Constantly. A groundball he’s trying to beat it out, a pop fly he’s running hard. He plays the game hard ALL the time.
Although, Brian Giles of the Padres, is much like Francoeur in that he’s always running into walls and the stands.
