Is “Tom & Jerry” innappropriate for children?

For my birthday, I got a DVD called the “Tom & Jerry Spotlight Collection: Vol. 2.” While reading the back, I saw a notice saying “Tom & Jerry Spotlight Collection is intended for the adult collector and may not be suitable for children.” Whenever I see this notice, it usually means there’s somthing too adultish (i.e. nudity, adult language being spoken from characters, etc.) for children, and there’s NOT anything innappropriate in Tom & Jerry. Why did they put that notice if there’s nothing innappropriate?

it has to do with the violent content of jerry kicking tom a ss all the time

my kids watch it and they don’t try to reinact the scenes, they just laugh so hard they cry sometimes
