APART FROM EBAY WHERE CAN I BUY LEGO STAR WARS AND BATMAN FIGURES ?

Hi my son collected the lego star wars and batman sets but due to the credit crunch we re finding it a bit hard to kepp buying the sets for him so I thought a good idea would be to buy the figures seperate but I cant find them any where except on ebay can anyone help please thanks
