Marvel does a good job of Making Characters that are easy to relate to but alot of them don’t have the Power to contend with the DC Heroes… DC does a good job of Making Legendary Heroes and Archetypes for others to copy

Superman, Wonder woman, Batman and almost all of the Classic Justice Society/ Justice League members are Archetypes that Marvel has copied in some way.

Marvel has come up with few Archetypes of its own… Most of them were Created by Jack Kirby and Stan Lee. Captain America, Spiderman, and Iron Man are those characters. The Fantastic Four was a cross between pre-existing DC groups Challengers of the Unknown and Doom Patrol.
